Failed to communicate with the PRISM server to start live streaming. This may be a temporary problem in network conditions, so please try again later.
We inform you about the situation where the live streaming could not start due to communication failure with the PRISM server.
The PRISM app needs to communicate with the PRISM server to start live streaming.
This is because the PRISM server starts receiving live broadcasting information such as the number of viewers, likes, and chats from the streaming target live platform after receiving notification that streaming has started from the PRISM app.
However, we have confirmed that the PRISM app may not be able to connect to the PRISM server on networks that some users are using. And in this case, the app provides the streamer with the error message below.
The domain of the PRISM server communicating with the app is ‘navercorp.com’. The PRISM app installed on numerous smartphone devices around the world tries to connect to the PRISM server using the above domain.
Meanwhile, the network path that the PRISM app connects to the PRISM server includes numerous network devices from many countries, some of which did not recognize the ‘navercorp.com’ domain. It’s possible that their settings are wrong.
Unfortunately, it is very difficult for us to solve this problem because there are so many different companies that manage each device around the world.
However, we’ve also confirmed that this issue can sometimes be temporary for individual users.
This is because the PRISM app may use a different network path than before while retrying the network connection to the PRISM server.
The current error occurs in a small number of situations while using the PRISM app. Therefore, if you encounter this error, please close the PRISM app completely and try again after a few minutes or hours.
